Ezekiel 5:1 meaning

Ezekiel's dramatic actions served as powerful symbols of the impending judgment upon Jerusalem for its unfaithfulness to God. In this context, he is commanded to shave his head and beard, a practice that signified deep mourning and defilement, reflecting the shame of the city due to its transgressions.
