Macedonia

The Roman province of Macedonia, located in northern Greece, is highly featured in Paul's missionary travels (around AD 49-57). Its strategic position along the Via Egnatia trade route, as well as its rugged mountain ranges and fertile valleys, made cities like Philippi, Thessalonica, and Berea notable centers of commerce and cultural exchange.
