2 Kings 6:33 meaning

In a time of severe famine in Israel, the prophet Elisha remains a figure of calm amidst the chaos. In this particular passage, the king’s desperation is palpable as he laments the extreme circumstances facing the people, attributing the calamity to the Lord's sovereignty.
