Ephesians 6:14 meaning

In the spiritual warfare described in Ephesians, believers are called to prepare for battle against formidable unseen enemies. The verse emphasizes the importance of being fully equipped with the armor of God, particularly focusing on the foundational elements of truth and righteousness. The analogy of a soldier's gear is poignant; just as a soldier secures their garments with a belt, believers must "gird their loins with truth," making sincerity and integrity central to their defense.
