Isaiah 33:18 meaning

In the context of chaos and impending doom faced by Jerusalem, this verse articulates a shift from fear and oppression to a confident anticipation of deliverance. The Israelites had endured the terror of invasion, epitomized by encroaching enemies and their threats. Yet, the verse assures that those who trust in God will find security and peace, free from the fear instilled by their adversaries.
