Isaiah 8:10 meaning

In a time of impending doom, the people of Judah were faced with overwhelming threats from neighboring nations. Isaiah conveyed a strong message from God, declaring that alliances and human efforts for security would ultimately fail against divine will. The nations, although intensely planning their resistance, would find themselves shattered despite their confidence. The promise of God’s presence among His people stands as a beacon of hope amidst their tribulations. This passage underscores the futility of opposing God's plan and reassures His faithful that they will ultimately prevail against their adversaries.
