Judges 20:48 meaning

In the aftermath of a devastating civil war, the Israelites' revenge against the tribe of Benjamin culminates in an alarming crisis. Following a brutal conflict fueled by the heinous acts committed in Gibeah, the Israelites faced a grim reality — nearly the entire tribe of Benjamin had been annihilated, leaving only a mere six hundred survivors.
