Please choose a passage in Revelation 15

Revelation 15:1 reveals that at the end of the seven trumpets and the plagues brought by the angels, the wrath of God is finished.

Revelation 15:2-4 shows the overcomers singing the song of Moses and of the Lamb, proclaiming God’s victory. The overcomers are victorious over the beast because they never worshiped his idol or took his mark. They stand in the peaceful presence of God, playing harps as they sing.

Revelation 15:5-8 depicts a ceremony which precedes the pouring out of the bowl judgments. This ceremony takes place in the true tabernacle, God’s house in heaven. Seven angels dressed in golden priestly attire receive seven golden bowls from one of the four living creatures. The scene is filled with the glory of God’s presence. No one could enter God’s tabernacle until the seven judgments were complete.

Revelation Chapter 15 is the prelude to the pouring out of the seven bowls and their accompanying judgments that will begin in Revelation 16, following the sounding of the seventh trumpet (Revelation 11:15). In this sign from heaven, John sees the overcomers singing the song of Moses and of the Lamb, which proclaim God’s victory. After this, a ceremony takes place whereby the angels of the seven plagues are clothed in clean robes and given the seven bowls of the wrath of God. Although the wrath of God is about to be poured out, John states at the beginning of the chapter that “in them the wrath of God is finished” (v. 1). Therefore, we have hope knowing that the end of the wrath is near. The glory of God fills the temple with smoke, so no one will be able to enter until the plagues are over.
