1 Kings 12:15 meaning

In the narrative of Rehoboam's reign, a critical moment unfolds when he chooses to disregard wise counsel in favor of the brash advice from his peers. The people of Israel appealed for relief from the heavy burdens imposed by Solomon, seeking a lighter yoke.
