Joshua 15:54 meaning

In the allocation of inheritance within the Promised Land, specific cities and regions are designated to different tribes. This verse speaks to the southernmost cities of Judah, including those that are Biblically and historically significant. The division of these territories reflects the overarching themes in the book of Joshua: fidelity to God’s promises and the importance of community identity as Israel settles into their new land.
