Luke 24:19 meaning

In a poignant moment following the resurrection of Christ, two disciples spoke of their disillusionment as they traveled away from Jerusalem. They reflected on the life, death, and the conflicting reports of the resurrection of Jesus, whom they called a "mighty prophet" who was revered by God and the people.
