Matthew
The Gospel of Matthew, the first book in the New Testament, presents a detailed account of the life, teachings, and ministry of Jesus Christ. It begins with the genealogy of Jesus, tracing His lineage back to King David and Abraham, and continues with the birth of Jesus, His baptism, and His early ministry. Matthew highlights Jesus as the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies and the Messiah promised to the Jewish people. The book includes the Sermon on the Mount as well as numerous miracles, parables, and encounters with religious leaders. Matthew also describes the arrest, trial, crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus, concluding with the Great Commission.
