Adam and Eve had two sons, Cain and Abel. At the appointed time, Cain and Abel brought sacrifices to the Lord. God accepted Abel’s sacrifice, but not Cain’s, which made Cain angry.

Adam named his wife Eve. God made clothes from animal skins for them. God drove them out of the garden and guarded the way to the tree of life.

God then judges Adam and Eve for their sin.

Adam and Eve face the consequence of their sin, but God, being gracious, reveals the first promise of the Savior, Jesus.

After Adam and Eve hide, God comes looking for them and confronts their disobedience. Now having sinned, Adam and Eve refuse to take responsibility, and seek to cast blame elsewhere.

The woman ate the forbidden fruit and also gave it to her husband. They recognized what they had done and hid from God.

The serpent approaches Eve and tempts her to disobey God.

Adam names all the living creatures, but a suitable helper was not found for him. God made woman from Adam’s rib and she became his wife.

A river flowed out of Eden and divided into four other rivers, the Pishon, the Gihon, the Tigris, and the Euphrates.

God makes man from the dust of the ground and he becomes a living being. Man is placed in a beautiful garden with food, the tree of life, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

We begin to see what is happening on the earth. No shrubs or plants had started to grow because it had not yet rained. A mist from the earth waters the surface of the ground.

God concludes the act of creation by resting on the seventh day. God blesses and sanctifies the seventh day.

God finishes the sixth day of creation by commanding man to be fruitful and multiply, and subdue the earth.

The sixth day of creation finds God creating the rest of the land animals and then He makes man in His own image.

On the fifth day of creation, God creates the creatures of the sky and sea.

God creates the sun, moon, and stars, on the fourth day of creation. The sun, moon, and stars provide the daily and seasonal cycles and the calculation of time.

During the beginning of the third day of creation, God divides the seas and the dry land. Then, He creates plant life and vegetation.

During the second day of creation, God separates the heavens from the earth.

This is the first full day of creation. God creates light and separates it from the darkness. He names the light “day” and the darkness “night.”

The Bible begins with God creating the entire universe.
